Job Summary:

Parallel Partners is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Engineer with advanced security clearance to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the areas of system design, installation, configuration, tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to alerts and customer-reported issues, escalate problems as required, and resolve significant matters by exercising independent judgment within established support practices.
  • Deploy approved release packages and breakfix solutions on ServiceNow in accordance with Configuration, Change, and Release Management policies and procedures.
  • Develop and interpret detailed installation instructions and supporting documentation to affect system design deployments.
  • Provide technical expertise in the areas of system design, installation, configuration, tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Respond to Incidents and Changes submitted by customers, to include Tier 2 level triage.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Tier 3 ServiceNow role for at least 3 years.
  • Experience with ITSM principles and ITIL best practices.
  • An Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph Security Clearance is required.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
  • Security+.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
  • Knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile approaches.
  • Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, etc.
  • Certifications with AWS technologies, Splunk, ServiceNow, Linux, Microsoft servers.
