Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Acute Care is responsible for delivering skilled nursing care and performing essential medical tasks under the supervision of registered nurses, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, physicians, or other authorized healthcare professionals within the Inpatient Specialty Care departments.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Minimum Required: Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Preferred: Experience in critical care or a hospital setting
Licensure and Certification:
- Minimum Required: Current New York State Practical Nurse License or Permit
- Preferred: Basic Skills Certifications (CPR)
