Job Summary

LIONSTONE Care is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in planning, developing, and implementing occupational therapy activities, ensuring compliance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with administration, medical, and nursing staff to plan therapy services and develop departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in discharge planning, resident care plan development, and implementation of resident assessments.
  • Provide instruction to residents and family members on home programs, adaptive equipment, and resident care.
  • Maintain accurate treatment records, resident files, and progress notes.
  • Ensure accurate billing and coding of therapy services rendered to residents.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with families and residents.
  • Perform administrative duties, including completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
Requirements
  • Occupational Therapy Assistant License (Required)
Work Environment

This is a part-time position working in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends as needed.
