Job Opportunity

A substitute nurse position is available at Amherst Central Schools. The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $54,000 based on an hourly rate of $26.06.

The ideal candidate will have a valid RN license and be able to administer student medications, complete required paperwork, and follow district procedures and guidelines for health care and medications. Additionally, they should possess excellent communication and telephone skills, as well as strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Administering student medications and completing required paperwork
  • Fulfilling District procedures and guidelines for health care and medications
  • Providing exceptional support to students, parents, and staff

Requirements
  • Valid RN license
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification
  • Confidentiality
  • Flexibility and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
