  • Collaborate with insurance carriers and third-party administrators to address issues and guarantee effective service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant federal and state laws, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and ACA.
  • Prepare and submit necessary regulatory documentation and reports.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to benefits management.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding benefits plans, coverage options, and claims processes.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and provide continuous education to employees about benefits options and updates.
  • Create and distribute informational materials to keep employees informed about benefits programs and modifications.
  • Engage with benefits providers to negotiate plan details, premiums, and service agreements.
  • Offer insights for enhancements to benefits plans and strategies for cost management.
  • Organize and manage the annual open enrollment process, including communication strategies, system updates, and employee assistance.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of changes in enrollment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in benefits management or a similar HR function.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employee benefits plans and applicable regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and benefits management software.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
