Radiologic Technology Instructor

Foothill De Anza Community College District is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technology Instructor to join our team. As a Radiologic Technology Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and evaluating students in laboratory and clinical/hospital settings.
Responsibilities:- Instruct and oversee students in laboratory and clinical/hospital settings.
- Work closely with clinical instructors involved in the clinical assignments of students.
- Act as a liaison between the college and hospital department manager.
- Teach one or more of the following courses: Clinical Radiologic Technology, Radiology Positioning Labs, and Radiation Physics.
- Understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds, disability, and sexual orientation of community college students, faculty and staff.
- Minimum Qualifications for this position as defined in the Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges published by the Academic Affairs Division, Chancellor's Office, California Community Colleges.
- Degree in health-related discipline.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Proficient in curriculum design, program administration, evaluation, instruction, and counseling.
- Teaching experience in a Radiologic Technology Program.
The working conditions for this position include an indoor, office environment. The physical abilities required include hearing and speaking to exchange information, vision sufficient to read various materials, dexterity of hands and fingers to perform tasks, and regular standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
