Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Shop Manager to join our team at Somerpointe Resorts. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fiduciary Management: Achieve business goals and targets, create a conducive environment for growth, and manage business analytics, loan portfolio, inventory, and sales productivity.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all business operations are conducted within regulatory requirements and maintain current licensing.
  • Talent Management: Ensure the store is fully staffed, develop a comprehensive succession plan, and provide training and coaching to team members.
  • Asset Management: Maintain security provisions, ensure equipment functionality, and hold subordinate staff accountable.
  • Facility Management: Ensure the assigned facility is in good repair and address concerns in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service: Foster a customer-centric environment, engage customers, and address issues promptly.
  • Code of Ethics: Ensure all employees and management adhere to the company's established Code of Ethics.
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Previous people management experience preferred
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong desire to work with people, team-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Cash handling experience required
  • High energy sales personality with knowledge of jewelry and general merchandise
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
