Job Summary

The Assistant General Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Equinox club, providing exceptional customer service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and supervise staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and management teams, to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Manage inventory control, payroll, budgeting, daily bank deposits, shift coverage, and general club maintenance to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to educate staff on company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to facilitate delegated projects and responsibilities, driving business growth and revenue.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness, or professional setting, with 3-6 years of management experience in a customer service business.
  • Enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge of the fitness industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue and lead high-performing teams.
  • Financial management experience and a 4-year college degree.
