Job Summary

The State Treasurer's Office is seeking an experienced IT Manager I to join our Application Management section. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and support of our applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and support of our applications, including software development, quality assurance, and software delivery.
  • Collaborate with our Application Development Manager to ensure alignment with our business objectives and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our stakeholders, including the State Treasurer's Office and the sixteen separate, quasi-independent boards, commissions, and authorities that report to the State Treasurer.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our applications and data, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in application development and support, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application development and support, with a focus on software development, quality assurance, and software delivery.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
