Midwest Tape, a leading provider of digital media solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Email Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for email marketing and a strong understanding of digital marketing principles. Responsibilities will include concepting, writing, and creating email and push campaigns for B2C efforts in Braze, as well as working with stakeholders to build out email calendars, draft compelling copy, execute email builds, test, report, and analyze results.

We are looking for a self-motivated and flexible individual who can work well in a team environment and has excellent follow-up and follow-through skills. The ideal candidate will also have a deep appreciation for public libraries and a working knowledge of HTML.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the email platform manager on day-to-day activities including planning, development, deployment, and reporting across various digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with the broader Marketing team and other key company stakeholders across departments.
  • Work with internal and external resources to develop compelling and effective emails.
  • Support an environment of transparency and continual optimization.
  • Assist in performance reporting leveraging available metrics in the continual optimization of messaging, partnering with internal and external analytics resources as needed.
  • Convey and foster a sense of community and build our following based on valuable content and mutual sharing.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on new and developing email trends.
  • Seek out and maintain expert-level knowledge of current events as well as relevant industry-specific trends.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in using MS Office software and Internet research and scheduling tools.
  • Good knowledge of email marketing principles including segmentation and multi-channel drip campaigns.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively under pressure, time and resource management.
  • Comfortable gathering and reporting technical information to stakeholders.
  • Solid organizational and detail skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to work well in team and individual environments, self-motivated and flexible.
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Knowledge of current events, specifically related to entertainment with a focus on publishing and video.
