About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center. As an Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to oncology patients, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient responses.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address any identified concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in oncology nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
