About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the radiation oncology department, including administering treatments and monitoring patient responses.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest radiation oncology treatments and technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • California Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring (L&D).
  • Certification in nursing administration, management, or specialty area as approved by American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Magnet within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
  • 1 year Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
