About the Role

CarePartners is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Extern to join our Inpatient Rehab Hospital team. As a Nurse Extern, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with your skills/training and the needs of the Department.
  • Consistently assist the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment.
  • Perform a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of nursing.
  • 1+ years of nursing school completed preferred.
  • Temporary Graduate Nurse Permit issued by NCBON if NCLEX delayed is required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree.
