CarePartners is seeking a Nurse Extern to join our Inpatient Rehab Hospital team. As a Nurse Extern, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
Responsibilities- Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the Nurse Extern's skills/training and the needs of the Department.
- Consistently assist the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment.
- Perform a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of nursing.
- 1+ years of nursing school completed preferred.
- Temporary Graduate Nurse Permit issued by NCBON if NCLEX delayed is required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree.
