At Detroit Quality Staffing LLC, we are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for inspecting products and materials at various stages of production to ensure they meet our quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of quality processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. With approximately $65,000 per year salary, this opportunity offers a competitive compensation package.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with 1-3 years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field. The successful candidate will possess familiarity with quality inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections: Conduct detailed inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Use measurement tools: Utilize measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and other testing equipment to check product dimensions, tolerances, and other attributes.
  • Document findings: Accurately document inspection results, deviations, and any non-conformities discovered during the inspection process.
  • Collaborate with production teams: Communicate quality issues with production teams and provide feedback to ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary.
  • Monitor and report quality metrics: Track and report on quality control metrics, such as defect rates, and maintain detailed records of inspections and test results.
  • Follow quality procedures: Adhere to established quality assurance procedures and guidelines, ensuring consistency and thoroughness in inspections.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts: Work with the Quality Assurance team to identify trends, suggest improvements, and help implement corrective actions.
  • Perform incoming and outgoing inspections: Inspect raw materials upon receipt and finished products before shipment to ensure they meet quality requirements.
