About the Role

As a Safety and Security Officer at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our Owners and guests. You will be responsible for providing a secure and welcoming environment, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol the property to prevent and detect crime, and to ensure the safety and security of Owners and guests.
  • Respond to emergency situations, such as fires, medical emergencies, and security breaches.
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support incident reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and secure experience for Owners and guests.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a security or law enforcement role.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
