Job Title: Security Officer

Marriott International, Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa.

Job Summary:

The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property. This includes patrolling all areas of the property, monitoring CCTV cameras, and responding to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect crime
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to alarms
  • Assist guests with room access and respond to emergencies
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and report any issues
  • Complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports/documents
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No related work experience required
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Related work experience in security or law enforcement
  • Supervisory experience
  • License or certification in security or law enforcement
