Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Creation: Produce detailed and realistic 3D assets, including cliffs, rocks, plants, and terrain, that meet design specifications and technical requirements.
  • Pipeline Development: Research and create efficient pipelines and solutions for highly detailed 1st person AAA terrain, including heightmaps, static meshes, and substance materials.
  • Texture Creation: Create semi-stylized textures using Substance Painter and Substance Designer.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with the games team and art director to ensure project visual and technical standards are met.
  • Project Management: Complete 3D art on schedule with project milestones.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in creating 3D assets for games, as demonstrated in a visual portfolio.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in industry-standard tools such as Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter/Designer, and Unreal Engine.
  • Artistic Skills: Strong grasp of materials, color, form, and composition.
  • Communication Skills: Well-developed communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Degree or certification in 3D art, digital art, or a related discipline.
  • Unreal Engine Experience: Experience working on a game created in Unreal Engine.
  • Blueprint Experience: Experience with/creating Unreal Engine Blueprints.
  • Remote Team Experience: Experience working with remote team members.
  • Concept Art Skills: Drawing/concept art skills.
