Account Services Specialist Job Summary
Oostburg State Bank is seeking an experienced Account Services Specialist to join our team. As an Account Services Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling complex transactions, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our banking systems.

Key Responsibilities
Provides account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments; cashing checks; issuing savings withdrawals; recording night and mail deposits; selling cashier's checks, and series e bonds; answering questions in person or on telephone; referring to other bank services
Closes accounts; takes orders for checks; exchanges foreign currencies; provides special statements, copies, and referrals; completes safe-deposit box procedures
Reconciles cash drawer by proving cash transactions; counting and packaging currency and coins; and other transactions; turns in excess cash and mutilated currency; maintains supply of cash and currency
Complies with bank operations and security procedures by participating in all dual-control functions, along with following all bank policies and procedures.

Requirements
Maintains confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive customer information
Acts with integrity and professionalism at all times, adhering to the bank's code of conduct
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
