Funciones:
  • Realiza una evaluación inicial de todos los nuevos casos de relaciones laborales.
  • Actúa como un asesor de confianza, socio estratégico y experto en la Universidad en las áreas de relaciones laborales, gestión del rendimiento, problemas de disciplina positiva y disputas en el lugar de trabajo.
  • Proporciona consulta y información a facultativos y personal sobre resolución de conflictos y el proceso de Resolución de Disputas del Personal.
  • Ofrece apoyo confidencial a la dirección y al personal, trabajando en estrecha colaboración con el Asesor Legal y partes interesadas clave para determinar el curso de acción adecuado y el riesgo potencial.
  • Mantiene y rastrea las actividades de relaciones laborales en un sistema de gestión de casos para cada problema de relaciones laborales asignado e informado.
  • Realiza visitas de divulgación de RRHH a departamentos para resolver problemas in situ.
  • Proporciona servicio al cliente interno al personal de RRHH para orientación sobre políticas y situaciones superpuestas.
  • Revisa los cambios en el estado de empleo de los empleados para garantizar el cumplimiento.
  • Lidera el desarrollo e implementación de programas de capacitación específicos para empleados, gerentes y supervisores en asociación y con el apoyo del personal de Aprendizaje y Desarrollo Organizacional.
  • Monitorea y evalúa programas para garantizar su efectividad.
  • Trabaja en estrecha colaboración con la Oficina de Equidad Institucional y los oficiales de Título IX según se indique respecto a quejas relacionadas con discriminación/acoso.
  • Asiste con revisiones de políticas, procedimientos y procesos comerciales.
  • Actúa como el punto de contacto principal para Relaciones Laborales en ausencia del Director Asistente.
  • Lidera o apoya proyectos estratégicos.
  • Es un miembro clave de grupos de trabajo organizacionales de RRHH y comités internos.
  • Realiza diversas tareas según sea necesario para cumplir con la función del puesto.
Requisitos del Trabajo

Educación Requerida: Título universitario Y:
  • 36 meses de experiencia profesional en RRHH en Relaciones Laborales o campo relacionado.
Habilidades:
  • Habilidades de servicio al cliente
  • Comprensión y compromiso con los principios y prácticas de diversidad e inclusión, así como habilidades de resolución de problemas y conflictos
  • Capacidad para adaptar la carga de trabajo a eventos y demandas inesperadas
  • Conocimiento profundo de las leyes y regulaciones locales, estatales y federales aplicables, especialmente relacionadas con el empleo y las relaciones laborales
  • Fuertes habilidades en las áreas de resolución de conflictos, técnicas de resolución de problemas, entrevistas e investigaciones
  • Habilidades analíticas y organizativas
  • Capacidad para gestionar/comunicar información sensible y/o confidencial de manera efectiva y relacionarse hábilmente con empleados en todos los niveles de la Universidad

Requisitos Físicos Anunciados:
