POSITION SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a motivated Coating Technician to contribute to our operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and safe execution of coating processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and verify equipment and room readiness before production begins, ensuring compliance with all relevant documentation and safety standards.
- Adhere to and promote safety protocols, understanding and following all operational procedures in line with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Check all incoming batches against control numbers and quantities, promptly addressing any discrepancies with supervisory staff.
- Operate machinery effectively, monitoring performance and reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct in-process quality checks and assist in investigations related to product failures or customer feedback.
- Ensure all products are coated according to established specifications and maintain accurate product counts.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, documenting all activities as required.
- Complete thorough cleaning of work areas post-production and ensure all records are accurate and comprehensive.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Wednesday: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm / Thursday: 5:00 am - 3:00 pm.
COMPENSATION: $16.00/hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with at least one year of relevant experience or training. Candidates should possess the ability to comprehend safety regulations, operational instructions, and procedural manuals. Strong documentation skills are essential.
This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 1600 pounds occasionally with appropriate equipment.
