Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team at SK Food Group Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our plant management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data and prepare reports to provide insights into plant performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, costs, and cost of goods sold transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Collaborate with the accounting department to develop and implement financial plans and budgets.
  • Accounting and Financial Policies: Communicate and champion accounting, budgeting, and financial policies and procedures to on-site staff, management, vendors, and clients.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise the Labor Specialist and other position(s) as assigned, and establish goals and objectives for direct reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university with at least six years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CMA preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with direct reports, peers, and company leadership.
  • Knowledge of finance, cost accounting, budgeting, inventory valuation, and cost control principles, including GAAP.
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications; Sage X3 preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong commitment to data integrity.
  • Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, analysis, and projections.
  • Ability to effectively summarize and clearly communicate in written, verbal, and presentation form.
