About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Apartment Management Consultants.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of property maintenance and upkeep. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our properties, including buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily repairs and upkeep of properties, including preparation of vacant units for occupancy.
  • Maintain and manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure necessary tools are on hand and available for use.
  • Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding properties or residents.
  • Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to company uniform standards.
  • Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
  • Be available to work on an on-call basis.
  • Secure maintenance shops at the close of every workday.
  • Remove snow and ice as necessary.
  • Handle lock-outs resulting from evictions and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Ability to operate various hand tools, including power tools.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Property maintenance/handyman experience.
