Position Overview: We are in search of a highly proficient and seasoned Senior Software Systems Analyst with extensive expertise in troubleshooting, analysis, specification, testing, and implementation of business-critical or financial software systems. The preferred candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Business Administration (BA), coupled with 5 to 8 years of relevant and progressive experience. This role demands exceptional communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to thrive in a customer-oriented team setting. Some travel may be necessary depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, analyze, specify, test, and implement business-critical or financial software systems within a customer-focused teamExhibit advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel (Pivot Table/Chart, V-look Up, Multiple V-look Up, H-look Up), PowerPoint, and OutlookEngage with PeopleSoft, particularly with knowledge of PeopleSoft Budgeting and Forecasting, Projects, and General Ledger (GL)Utilize reporting tools such as PS Query and BI Publisher for report generationDiagnose, debug, and rectify programs using Application Designer, Trace, and MS SQLSupport the business team with testing and acceptance testing for developments and fixesDocument and validate test cases against functional specificationsDeliver consistent positive outcomes with minimal oversightPrioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment with varying demands and deadlinesWork autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Business Administration (BA)5 to 8 years of relevant, progressive experience in troubleshooting, analysis, specification, testing, and implementation of business-critical or financial software systemsExceptional communication skillsStrong attention to detailWillingness to travel as requiredAdvanced user skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience with PeopleSoft, particularly in Budgeting and Forecasting, Projects, and GLStrong analytical skills in PeopleSoft Budgeting and Forecasting, Projects, and GLFamiliarity with reporting tools such as PS Query and BI PublisherExperience in diagnosing, debugging, and correcting programs using Application Designer, Trace, and MS SQLAbility to assist the business team with testing or acceptance testing for developments and fixesCapacity to produce consistent positive results with minimal directionAptitude for prioritizing and executing tasks in a fast-paced environment with varying requirements and deadlinesAbility to work both independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.5x
