Position: Senior Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer
Assignment Type: Short-term contract with remote capabilities and occasional onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities:As a Senior I&C Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting a wide array of I&C design tasks, which include:
- Defining design parameters, establishing control systems architecture, and developing digital systems.
- Configuring PLC, DCS, and network setups, along with logic development and process controls.
- Supporting and reviewing P&ID development, HMI design, communication protocols, and routing layouts.
- Managing SIL and procurement processes.
- Interpreting and applying relevant National, State, and Local codes and standards, along with customer specifications, to prepare electrical design and construction documentation.
- Estimating engineering costs and project timelines.
- Generating and verifying the accuracy of design calculations and specifications.
- Utilizing computer-aided drafting applications effectively.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical (Power) Engineering or a closely related field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (nuclear sector preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards pertinent to electrical engineering design.
- Professional Engineer License is advantageous but not mandatory.
