Process Improvement Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Engineer to join our team at Core Group Resources Careers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing process improvements across various operations within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, including inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and quality issues.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and drive alignment on improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct data analysis to quantify the impact of process changes and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
  • Design and document new processes, including the creation of process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
  • Lead and facilitate process improvement workshops and training sessions to educate and engage employees in continuous improvement practices.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to leverage technology and automation in process improvements.
  • Prepare and present reports, including detailed analysis, project updates, and recommendations for senior management.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies, systems, and tools that contribute to process optimization and enhanced operational performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 5-7 years of operations experience, including auditing, operations analysis, and successful implementation of performance enhancement initiatives.
  • Highly proficient with lean tools such as Standard Work, 5S, Visual Management, Kanban, Material Routes, Level Loading, and Poka-yoke.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • SAP, Minitab, Tableau, Denodo, Simul8 experience preferred.
