We are Aspire Living & Learning, a non-profit human services agency dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults and children with autism and other disabilities.
Our organization is currently seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our program and participate in the delivery of healthcare services to group home residents.
This role offers a collaborative team environment where you will become an active member by participating in the intervention process and formulating resolutions.
You will be responsible for dispensing medications as needed, following MAP policies and procedures, and overseeing the medical aspects of the residents, including participating in medical appointments and hospital visits when necessary.
As a Medical Care Specialist, you will provide necessary health-related training and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and acquired brain injuries (ABI) in home and day settings.
This position offers a consistent schedule, Full-Time Monday - Friday, with no weekends.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must be a current Licensed Practical Nurse with a valid Massachusetts Driver's License.
Candidates must also be able to successfully pass a criminal background check (CORI), reference check, and national fingerprinting and driving record checks.
