About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Design & Engineering group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting existing environmental investigation and remediation projects in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Metropolitan New York areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute engineering tasks in support of key projects/programs, including Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Remedial Designs, Remedial Actions, and post-remediation OM&M.
  • Provide engineering support for the remediation of contaminated soils, sediments, surface water, and groundwater involving remedies such as excavation, capping, containment, in-situ and ex-situ treatment, and subsurface vapor mitigation.
  • Coordinate the development and finalization of technical documents, including regulatory reports, work plans, remedial design plans and specifications, construction completion reports, permit applications, etc., pursuant to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide project support with the development of scopes of work, planning, and implementation of routine tasks, including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling efforts.
  • Assist in the development of project execution strategies and interact with existing and prospective clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Geoenvironmental, or Chemical Engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Possession, eligibility, or interest in obtaining a PE license and/or LSRP.
  • 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and up to-date 8-hour refresher.
  • Strong working knowledge of NJDEP regulations, including ISRA, TRSR, and ARRCS, and technical guidance. Familiarity with other local, State, and federal agencies/regulations a plus.
  • Experience with both conventional and innovative remediation technologies and developing and implementing Pre-Design Investigations and Remedial Design documents (regulatory and technical/contractual).
