Job OverviewThis prestigious legal firm is seeking an experienced Employment Attorney to join our team. As an Employment Attorney, you will play a vital role in representing and advising clients on a wide range of employment issues, including employment contracts, employee rights, workplace policies, and termination procedures.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance on employment law matters, including contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
  • Represent clients in employment litigation cases, including preparing for and attending court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Negotiate and draft employment contracts, ensuring they are legally sound and protect the interests of our clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in employment law and advise clients accordingly.
  • Work closely with other members of the legal team to develop strategies for managing employment litigation cases and contract negotiations.
  • Provide training and guidance to clients on employment law to help them understand their rights and obligations.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on employment litigation and contract negotiation.
  • Membership in good standing with the state bar.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing employment litigation cases and negotiating contracts.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and software.
