Early Childhood Education Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Toddler Lead Teacher to join our team at The Goddard School of Morrisville, NC. As a Toddler Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children, implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, and inspiring young minds through creative and effective teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum and Instruction
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster a love of learning
- Observe and assess children's development, adjusting activities accordingly to ensure optimal growth and progress
- Classroom Management
- Create a safe, inclusive, and well-organized classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Manage daily routines and transitions smoothly, ensuring a seamless and efficient learning experience
- Family Communication
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities
- Conduct regular parent-teacher conferences and provide updates on their child's development and progress
- Health and Safety
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and common areas, adhering to all health and safety guidelines and procedures
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being
- Professional Development
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to share ideas and strategies, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
