Job Summary
The Telehealth Coordination Specialist will play a critical role in managing the quality of care provided through our telehealth program. This position requires strong leadership skills, analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with palliative care teams and primary medical staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Manage operational aspects of technology platform, marketing, quality improvement, data management, and analysis.
- Represent the program at community outreach events and other venues for promotion.
- Champion changes and implement new programs to improve system processes and quality of patient care.
- Counsel associates effectively and collaborate with managers/directors to utilize the disciplinary process.
- Ensure appropriate staffing and management of technology resources for the telehealth program.
- Investigate and follow through on customer complaints and incidents.
- Lead team collaboration efforts to serve and comprehensively manage the full circle of care for the Telehealth patient population.
- Monitor program to assure an environment conducive to physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being of patients and staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of related clinical experience in clinical setting caring for older adults required.
- Active DC or Maryland license upon hire; apply for other jurisdiction within 1 month of starting.
- Current RN license in the State of Maryland preferred.
Salary Information
This position has a salary range of $72,758 - $123,260.
