Dead River Company is looking for a Field Operations Training Expert to enhance our team.

Position Overview:

The Field Operations Training Expert plays a crucial role in delivering a uniform training experience for both new and current employees, ensuring they can effectively carry out their responsibilities. A key aspect of this position involves supporting the overall management of the Dead River Institute, alongside designing and facilitating training sessions that align with the standards and vision of Dead River Company. Training will be delivered through various formats, including classroom settings, small group interactions, eLearning modules, and virtual sessions, to guarantee a consistent experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide uniform training across all Dead River Company locations.
  • Deliver hands-on, technical training on operational equipment at the Dead River Institute for apprentices, technicians, and delivery personnel.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the training facility and equipment, ensuring all training materials are current with manufacturer and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct classroom, small group, and on-the-job training for new and existing staff on company policies, procedures, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors on projects aimed at process enhancement or the adoption of new technologies.
  • Identify, design, and implement training plans, including follow-up training for process stabilization.
  • Conduct thorough training needs assessments in partnership with the Training Manager and other internal stakeholders.
  • Based on assessments, provide constructive feedback, propose tailored solutions, and develop training plans with timelines for execution.
  • Assist new and existing employees with performance-related issues and retraining as needed.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires to facilitate their integration into the company culture and understanding of business processes.
  • Design and update training materials to reflect company standards.
  • Stay informed about industry standards, product technologies, and business processes to effectively implement training that equips employees with the necessary knowledge and resources.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in relevant fields (Delivery, Service, Office) is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role within the company.
  • Prior experience in training is essential.
  • Experience with web-based technologies to enhance employee learning is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Work Environment:

This role involves approximately 20% of time spent in an office setting for administrative tasks, with 80% dedicated to fieldwork and training delivery. Travel to various company locations is required.
