POSITION SUMMARY
This role is available for candidates in the EST and CST time zones, operating on a hybrid schedule, requiring 3 days in the office.
You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive analysis and synthesis of diverse data sources to assess product performance, assortment strategies, and store segmentation through a modular approach, while utilizing effective communication and persuasion to drive actionable outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver insights, analysis, and recommendations for category management initiatives leveraging retailer POS and NielsenIQ, Circana (IRI) data sources and reporting tools.
- Exhibit strong analytical, presentation, and storytelling capabilities.
- Develop, update, and maintain weekly and monthly performance dashboards (weekly POS and monthly category summaries).
- Contribute to the creation of category presentations that integrate syndicated data and other relevant information addressing business challenges.
- Collaborate closely with CPG Category Management and Space Technology teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay informed about client KPIs, strategies, innovations, and other critical information.
- Utilize client relationships to grasp key retailer deliverables, category strategies, and project timelines.
- Category Analyst/Manager Certification is advantageous.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Relevant work experience may substitute for educational qualifications.
- Category Management Certification is preferred.
Professional Experience:
- 1 – 3 years of related experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Demonstrated proficiency in Windows and related software applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with syndicated data.
- Ability to communicate relevant information clearly and concisely.
- Capable of identifying and utilizing relevant data to analyze situations and propose solutions.
- Effectively conduct data mining using CPG mathematical concepts and tools.
