Patient Access Specialist IV
Overview:The primary role of a patient access specialist is to serve as the intermediary between the organization and the clientele/patient.
This position involves delivering product knowledge and addressing a diverse range of inquiries while ensuring an exceptional customer service experience.Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the intermediary between the organization and the clientele.
- Address routine customer inquiries regarding products or services through various communication channels.
- Engage with customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner adhering to established protocols.
- Inquire, clarify, and confirm customer needs and comprehension of the provided solutions.
- Offer additional customer education and information as necessary.
- Qualify and onboard new customers seeking the organization’s products and services.
- Navigate multiple databases to investigate complex issues and inquiries.
- Inform clients of test outcomes promptly and accurately.
- Examine test documentation for precision and report any inconsistencies.
- Provide administrative support for medical record management, CRM data upkeep, and internal documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology utilized in clinical environments
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Customer Service Skills: Courteous demeanor with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
