We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As an Acute Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
- Conduct thorough health assessments, diagnose, and treat complex conditions, and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures, as needed.
- Utilize critical thinking skills and evidence-based standards of practice to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Accurately document patient encounters and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Identify and proactively address potential issues to ensure timely and effective care delivery.
- Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that respects individual needs and preferences.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or Internal Medicine.
- Graduate with an advanced degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Nationally board certified, current.
- Current BLS required, ACLS certification preferred.
- Prescriptive authority and DEA.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
