Threat Intelligence Professional

X is looking for a highly skilled Threat Intelligence Professional to join our team. As a Threat Intelligence Professional, you'll be responsible for recognizing, researching, and analyzing various threat actor groups and attack patterns to identify potential threats.
Responsibilities- Develop profiles of bad actors on X and complete scaled investigations into those bad actors.
- Conduct threat modeling to improve threat detection and mitigation.
- Create heuristic rules to detect and stop bad actors on X and contribute to building other detection systems and Safety product features.
- Perform continuous research based on open-source and internal tooling on specific threats, including threat actors and campaigns.
- Investigate anomalies detected by other Safety or partner teams.
- Participate in Red/Blue team activities.
- Produce brief bulletins, assessments, or full-length profiles of actors for stakeholders.
- Manage external and internal Threat Intelligence partnerships on behalf of X.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Security, Management Information Systems, Risk Management, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Threat Intelligence, with a focus on safety, security, and content policy.
- Experience creating heuristic-based rules (e.g., YARA).
- Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and scripting languages like Python, R, or another.
- Knowledge of threat models such as Kill Chain or MITRE ATT&CK.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
