The role of a Threat Intelligence Specialist at Amazon is to proactively analyze new security threats, identify malicious actors, and research the evolving threat landscape. This position requires expertise in threat intelligence or fraud, with a strong analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in threat intelligence, data analysis, information security, security operations/incident response, cyber-crime investigations or intelligence, fraud prevention, cyber threat hunting. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is also required.

This position comes with a salary range of $91,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $196,300/year in our highest geographic market. Amazon offers a total compensation package, including equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits. As a member of the Special Projects & Investigations (SPI) team, you will work effectively with a cross-functional team and under tight deadlines. Your key responsibilities will include conducting in-depth research and performing investigations into potential and existing security threats, evaluating threats by collecting, manipulating, and analyzing data from multiple sources, and preparing reports based on your research and analysis.
