Job Overview

Salary Range
The estimated annual salary for this position is $192,425, based on industry standards and cost of living in San Carlos, CA.

Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist, Threat Intelligence to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with expertise in threat intelligence, incident response, and security operations. Key responsibilities include:
  1. Leading with high sense of urgency, operating, scaling, and optimizing InfoSec Incident response, security operation, and vulnerability management capabilities.
  2. Managing security incidents proactively, including threats monitoring, hunting, identification, and acting on anomalous activity based on improvement in processes, tools, and techniques.
  3. Performing detailed analysis and risk evaluation of incidents, vulnerabilities, attack vectors, attack surfaces, and detection avoidance tactics.
  4. Working with senior executives, regulatory authorities, and law enforcement as needed.
  5. Collaborating with external Threat Intelligence sources to stay ahead of emerging threats.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  1. B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of technical & operational cybersecurity experience, including a minimum of 5+ years of specific experience in large enterprise cybersecurity IR, security operations, tools, and processes.
  3. Technically sound, with deep experience in communicating cyber incidents precisely and professionally.
  4. Solid Incident Response experiences in complex, large enterprise environments.
  5. Expert experiences in handling incident response to meet compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, SEC, NIST, etc.
