Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Produce Department Team Trainer to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to new team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for new team members, focusing on produce department operations, customer service, and sales techniques.
  • Team Support: Provide ongoing support and coaching to team members, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and helping them to improve their performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that our produce department meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
  • Communication: Collaborate with team leaders, store trainers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of training programs.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6 months of experience in a retail or food service environment, with a focus on training and development.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Environmental Factors: Exposure to temperatures, cleaning chemicals, and other environmental factors associated with a retail or food service environment.
