Position Overview

As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic and functional success by addressing their unique needs. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate closely with educators and families to ensure student progress and participation in school activities.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living through thorough assessments.
  • Design and implement customized treatment plans tailored to each student's individual needs and goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment for students.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Eligibility for or possession of state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Clinical experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
