Role Description:

Plodzik & Sanderson, P.A. is seeking a skilled accounting professional to enhance our expanding team. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, driven, and possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to thrive in a collaborative environment. This position offers the chance to engage with diverse entities, including governmental, nonprofit, and commercial organizations, while providing a range of services such as taxation, audit, advisory, and forensic accounting. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in all stages of financial statement audits.
  • Recognize and respond to client requirements.
  • Prepare federal and state tax filings, including quarterly estimates and extensions.
  • Contribute to various projects, consistently showcasing innovative thinking and personal initiative.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
  • Complete annual continuing professional education requirements.
  • Be prepared to travel to client locations as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
  • CPA certification or a commitment to obtaining licensure.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic technology, including the MS Office suite.
  • Willingness to engage in a variety of tasks.
  • Demonstrated progressive responsibility in audit engagements.
