Position Overview

AECOM is on the lookout for a Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Estimation Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on providing specialized estimating services for projects associated with educational facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with a wide array of technical, professional, and managerial personnel, including designers and contractors, to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Prepare and oversee the creation of detailed cost assessments throughout all design and construction phases.
  • Supervise the execution of quantity surveys and cost analyses related to design documents and contract specifications.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on contract estimates prepared by external consultants, advising on their suitability for implementation.
  • Participate in negotiations concerning costs.
  • Organize, delegate, and review the cost-estimating tasks of team members.
  • Carry out additional related duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of full-time technical experience, with a minimum of 5 years in estimating within the mechanical, electrical, or plumbing domains, and 3 years in any combination of construction-related technical fields.
  • Expertise in Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing estimation.

Additional Information

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Compensation will be determined based on location and individual qualifications.
