We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hunger Programs Coordinator to join our team at Three Square. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering front-line customer service to our partners, implementing program efforts for Golden Groceries and other Senior Hunger Programs priority areas.
Key Responsibilities- Program Coordination: Coordinate program efforts for Golden Groceries, working closely with Operations teams, including Procurement, Warehouse, Agency Services, Volunteer Operations, and Transportation.
- Program Fidelity: Maintain program fidelity throughout Senior Hunger Programs, ensuring partners are held accountable for program efforts and reporting.
- Partner Outreach: Support outreach to potential partners, encouraging community entities to take an active role in Senior Hunger Programs solutions.
- Training and Support: Deliver consistent and essential support to program sites, demonstrating best practices when training partners.
- Collaboration and Communication: Effectively communicate with seniors, connecting them with the program most appropriate for them, and conduct evaluations, interviews, and surveys in the field as needed.
- Operational Efficiency: Follow standard operating procedures in repetitive tasks associated with ongoing programs and activities, such as the use of CERES and Oasis Insight, and monitoring the delivery calendar and purchase orders.
- Compliance and Reporting: Communicate through various channels with SHP partners and internal departments to keep them abreast of all current and/or changing guidelines and other pertinent compliance information, and respond to partner inquiries/issues and follow up as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by following up on matters of concern until they have been sufficiently resolved, and communicate recommendations to manager through ongoing communication.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Assist in gathering information/data as needed for interdepartmental use or other reporting requests, and maintain required job knowledge, skills, and core professional competencies.
- Teamwork and Professionalism: Maintain a positive work environment by conducting all communications with colleagues, supervisors, interns, and volunteers in a professional and friendly manner, and be articulate, concise, and accurate in communication, whether in speaking or in writing.
- Confidentiality and Security: Manage confidential information relating to clients, agencies, and donors, and maintain a strong focus on housekeeping, documentation, sanitation, and food safety processes.
- Education and Experience: At least two years of college or two years of experience in logistics or operations is required, and at least one year of customer service experience is required.
- Licenses and Certifications: A driver's license is required, and a safe driving record, current vehicle insurance, and the ability to use a personal vehicle for business at off-site locations are necessary.
- Skills and Abilities: Outstanding communication skills, ability to ensure and maintain best practices and compliance with Senior Hunger Programs, ability to think critically and provide ideas, opinions, and information in a professional manner, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
This position requires working indoors in an office at Three Square or at diverse agency sites outside of Three Square, and occasional exposure to outside weather conditions may occur.
