Position Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator is pivotal in orchestrating all facets of employee management at Southwest Florida Home Care. This role encompasses the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of initiatives related to the recruitment, retention, and development of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily human resources functions, ensuring the establishment and adherence to HR policies.
  2. Guarantee compliance with all relevant state, federal, and CHAP regulations governing human resources.
  3. Implement enhanced operational methods to ensure lawful and effective recruitment, selection, orientation, and termination processes.
  4. Analyze competitor compensation structures and advise the Executive Director on necessary adjustments to maintain market competitiveness.
  5. Collaborate with management to assess recruitment needs and devise a strategic recruitment plan, evaluating the effectiveness of these efforts.
  6. Foster a positive community perception of Southwest Florida Home Care as an employer of choice.
  7. Assist in the formulation of the annual HR budget and monitor resource allocation in line with budgetary constraints.
  8. Coordinate and engage in community outreach and recruitment initiatives, including career fairs.
  9. Identify educational needs within the workforce and develop comprehensive orientation and ongoing training programs.
  10. Recruit and directly supervise the human resources team members.
  11. Maintain an extensive library of resources to facilitate employee education and professional growth.
  12. Ensure confidentiality of all employee records and information.
  13. Conduct annual assessments of employee satisfaction regarding benefits and workplace environment, reporting findings as per organizational practices.
  14. Provide recommendations for the organization’s benefits package and explore cost-effective options.
