Geriatric APP Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

United Health Services Hospitals is seeking a skilled Geriatric APP Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY.
This is a full-time, exempt opportunity that requires a current New York State license and National Certification. The ideal candidate will have experience in Geriatrics and be able to provide health care services to patients within our local nursing facilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing documentation, administering and ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting test results, and prescribing and monitoring therapies. They will also develop and implement patient management plans, electronic medical records progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care.
This position may require some local travel between nursing facilities. The Geriatric APP Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will also be part of an on-call group with support from Geriatric physicians and other nurse practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide health care services to patients within our local nursing facilities

Requirements:
- Current New York State license
- National Certification
- Experience in Geriatrics
Salary: $127,100 - $148,300 annually
