About the Role
As a Business Coordinator at Texas A&M Engineering, you will play a vital role in providing financial services to customers within the College of Engineering. Your responsibilities will include serving as a liaison with departmental payroll and human resources, overseeing monthly and bi-weekly payroll, and providing work authorization certification. You will also be responsible for coordinating routine personnel activities, maintaining personnel files, and approving leave requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial payroll support to customers by serving as a liaison with departmental payroll and human resources.
  • Oversee monthly and bi-weekly payroll, including hiring and termination of employees.
  • Provide work authorization certification and submit supplemental pay requests.
  • Coordinate routine personnel activities, including maintenance of personnel files and approval of leave requests.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum qualifications for a Business Coordinator I: 2 years of related experience.
  • Minimum qualifications for a Business Coordinator II: 3 years of related experience.
