Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parking Operations Supervisor to join our team at SP Plus Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of our parking facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of assigned locations, ensuring that parking operations are handled within contractual guidelines and company policies.
  • Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction, providing a positive experience for all customers.
  • Assist with management duties as assigned, including maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks.
  • Courteously assist customers, responding to requests for service and assistance in a timely and professional manner.
  • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards, or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
  • Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills, and other hazards, ensuring a safe and clean environment for customers.
  • Substitute for any position, if necessary, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area of the garage, providing expert guidance to customers.
Requirements
  • Minimal high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak clearly, listen actively, and respond well to questions.
  • Ability to read and interpret written information, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Positive attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Adaptability, with the ability to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and professional manner.
  • Sound and accurate judgment, with the ability to make informed decisions and take appropriate action.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
