Job Title: Valet Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Valet Supervisor to join our team at LAZ Parking. As a Valet Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our valet locations, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are supported and empowered to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for patrons during the shift, receiving and distributing tickets, keys, and cash.
  • Develop a positive rapport with patrons and customers, promoting good customer relations and a can-do attitude.
  • Assist patrons into the client facility and provide a gracious sense of arrival.
  • Park and return customer vehicles upon request and as necessary in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a liaison to the company manager responsible for the shift, including in the event of accidents or incidents on a shift.
  • Sign and initial cash-out sheets and provide shift cash-out sheets to the company manager responsible for the shift.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to produce and maintain an acceptable driving record and unrestricted driver's license.
  • Strong customer service experience and parking operations and/or parking industry experience.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Open to feedback, differing opinions, and other points of view.
  • Capable of taking direction from company managers and working alone or with one or more other valets.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness, ability to seek improvement, and ability to drive a standard transmission.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
