About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in parking operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure parking policies and procedures meet expectations and established standards.
  • Assist in the management of team members, including hiring, training, coaching, and counseling.
  • Plan and direct special event activities and coordinate with other Supervisors and Directors as required.
  • Respond to and resolve guest or visitor complaints, vehicle claims, and service discrepancies.
  • Maintain continual communication with property management, Site Manager, customers, and guests.
  • Keep Site Manager abreast of any management concerns in a timely and efficient manner and resolve issues as quickly as possible in their absence.
  • Conduct shift briefings and staff meetings to ensure a consistent and effective flow of information.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the use of equipment and resources.
  • Handle call offs and assist with scheduling when necessary.
  • Diagnose and preventative care maintenance.
Accountability

The Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring parking policies and procedures meet expectations and the management of team members, including hiring, training, coaching, and counseling processes.

Communication

Effective communication is vital for the Assistant Manager role. They must maintain constant communication with property management, Site Manager, customers, and guests.

Exceptional Service

Our commitment to exceptional service is non-negotiable. The Assistant Manager must go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations, assisting with luggage, providing directions, and offering assistance whenever needed.

Profitability

While the Assistant Manager's primary role is management, they should also be mindful of operational efficiency. The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing many parts of multiple location's operation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following experience and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • One-year supervisory experience required.
  • Prior parking experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and be available to work weekends.
  • Must be able to meet Motor Vehicle Requirement (MVR) guidelines.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of and working skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Ability to lift up-to 25lbs.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy environment, handle multiple tasks, and work within time constraints.
