Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Services Analyst/Associate Governmental Program Analyst to join our team at the Mule Creek State Prison in Ione, California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to the Chief of Mental Health and the Chief Psychologist, gathering and analyzing information to resolve issues and requests, and revising or implementing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical support to the Chief of Mental Health and the Chief Psychologist
  • Gather and analyze information to resolve issues and requests
  • Revised or implement policies and procedures
  • Perform a wide variety of analytical duties and responsibilities
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and collect data
  • Track information, monitor tracking systems, and make recommendations to management
  • Implement processes and procedures to support the overall mission and immediate goals of the institution
Requirements
  • Equivalent to completion of the 12th grade
  • Four years of experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer service duties
  • Academic education from an accredited college/university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
  • State experience applied toward the General Experience pattern must include at least one year in a class at a level of responsibility equivalent to that of the promotional class
  • Experience applicable to one of the following patterns may be combined on a proportional basis with experience applicable to the other patterns to meet the total experience requirements
